I am going to a lecture by Neil Arnold who is a full-time monster hunter. He is the author of Mystery Animals Of Kent, Haunted Maidstone, Haunted Ashford and Paranormal Kent.
He runs monthly ghost walks around Blue Bell Hill and Rochester.
Kent, the Garden of England, is one of the world's most historic and haunted locations. However, many of its ghost stories have been portrayed inaccurately over the years, from Blue Bell Hill's phantom hitchhiker to Pluckley's 12 ghosts. Now, for the first time, author Neil Arnold sheds new light on old tales and proves that Kent's most haunted locations are even weirder than once thought. With tales of phantom hounds, red-eyed monsters, old hags and obscure legends, Paranormal Kent is a creepy adventure into the darkest corners of Kentish folklore.
He is lecturing at:
Fairview Avenue, Wigmore, Kent ME8 0PX
Tel: 01634 235576
I found out about this via a friend who goes to all the librarys lectures on a regular basis.
